This Fractional CO2 laser delivers intense light into the targeted area of the skin by creating microscopic channels in the skin. The laser precisely heats the water present inside the tissue and vaporizes the affected areas, thereby producing light-controlled superficial skin burns. Surrounding cells of the target area are heated at a lower temperature, initiating the clotting of blood or its coagulation to prevent bleeding. The heat-caused tiny wounds in the skin further trigger the natural healing response of the body wherein the production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and other natural compounds of the skin is encouraged to make the skin firmer, tighter, thicker, plumper, and smoother.
